Homosexuality: The Biblical Truth

In Genesis, God created male and female - each with their own purpose in life. The Bible plainly states that sodomy is an abomination to God!

*"Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind; it is abomination".

Leviticus 18:22
Leviticus 20:13

* Abomination - extreme disgust and hatred

Genesis 19 - The men of Sodom were trying to commit sodomy with the angels that traveled with Lot into the city. When Lot, being a just man, would not turn them over, the angels smote the men with blindness. God destroyed Sodom along with Gomorrah with brimstone and fire because of all the wickedness in the cities.

Will He not destroy this land also? We are on our way back to Sodom and Gomorrah with all the wickedness in our land today; sodomy, fornication, abortions,etc.

*"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them a ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;" 2 Peter 2:6

*"Even as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth as example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire".

Are we today the ones living ungodly? These examples were set for us, this land today.

Romans 1 is clear on the laws of sodomy (homosexuality).

Verse 26-27 God gave them up onto vile affections:

*women and men changing the natural use into that which is against nature (men with men and women with women)

*When anyone rebels against the laws of God they subject themselves to a reprobate mind (rejected by Christ).

Verse 28

*"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient" (fit; proper).

Verse 29 - 31 is a list of unrighteousness that God considers worthy of death.

This punishment includes all those who participate in or take pleasure in homosexual activities:

*Verse 32: " Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them."

1Corinthians 6:9 - 10

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor effeminate (having feminine qualities untypical of a man) nor abusers of themselves with mankind... Shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Do you not want to inherit what God has for you?

Just a few years ago, homosexuality was considered a disgrace. Today's society is accepting openness of this sin: TV sitcoms, legalized same sex marriages, gay parades,etc.

* Society has gone as far as allowing the homosexual movement to publicly display their flags and symbols, which were once a hidden sin.

Genesis 9: 13 - 17

*God gave the rainbow as a covenant with the earth. Homosexuals have taken this special covenant and reversed it to a symbol of their sin. It was never meant to be a sign of homosexuality.

This tract is not meant to condemn anyone, but simply relay the Word of God. Make no mistake, no one is born in this condition. Homosexuality is an unclean spirit that Satan uses to deceive and destroy lives.

If your life has been affected by this deception, there is hope!

*John 3: 16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

You must repent of your sins and change your lifestyle to the likeness of Christ.

*2 Corinthians 5: 17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are past away; behold, all things are become new.

Jesus is waiting with outstretched arms. Won't you come?
